Criteria for Government Funded Flu

Vaccines 2018

Free seasonal influenza vaccine is availabler for the following people:

  • all people aged 65 years and over
  • children aged 6 months to 5 years
  • all aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander people aged 15 years and over
  • pregnant women
  • all people with medical conditions predisposing to severe influenza

The cost to patients who do not qualify for a government funded vaccine is $15.50

After Hours Service

Our afterhours service is provided by the Bathurst After Hours Medical Service between 6pm & 8am week days and from 12pm Saturday to 8am Monday & includes  public holidays.  This service is staffed by experienced local GPs.

Bathurst After Hours GP Clinic operates on Saturday & Sunday afternoons from 3pm to 7pm at the Specialist Rooms, Heritage Building (entry via Howick St), Bathurst Base Hospital.  This is a Walk- In Clinic, no appointments necessary.
